The New Jersey Big Data Alliance (NJBDA) is a unique collaboration of academic, industry and government partners focused on building advanced computation capabilities and spurring data-driven innovation by:
- Providing access to big data technologies and expertise housed at NJ higher education institutions
- Facilitating multi-institutional and public-private research collaborations
- Growing a data-enabled workforce
- Strengthening New Jersey’s cyberinfrastructure
Founded by Rutgers University in 2013, the NJBDA has been formally recognized by the State Legislature as “New Jersey’s Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Consortium”.
The NJBDA has ambitious plans for 2020-2021, including the development of a technology infrastructure database and a big data course navigator. The Alliance welcomes new members and partners. Visit the NJBDA website for more information.
